Microquest's history is long, and full of awesomeness. This is but a short list of our most awesome milestones. 

1993

President Mike Barth establishes Microquest.

 

1994

Microquest releases the initial version of Healthquest, which allows physicians to bill with the new Alberta Health Care claim system.

 

1999

Microquest wins a contract to provide a billing solution for the University of Calgary Medical Group.

 

2001

Microquest releases the Healthquest EMR component.

 

2004

Microquest meets the 2004 Vendor Conformance and Usability Requirements (VCUR).

 

2006

Microquest develops and releases ConsultDERM, a secure messaging dermatology consultation service that allows physicians to submit dermatological requests for diagnosis by board-certified dermatologists. ConsultDERM is used by over 2000 healthcare professionals across Canada.

Microquest meets the 2006 Vendor Conformance and Usability Requirements (VCUR).

 

2008

Despite not receiving Physician Office System Program (POSP) funding from the provincial government, Microquest continues to bring Healthquest to Alberta healthcare providers.

 

2015

In response to the physician need for a secure messaging system, Microquest partners with the Alberta Medical Association to develop dr2dr.

 

2016

Microquest officially launches the dr2dr Secure Messaging system.

 

2017

Microquest introduces Community Information Integration (CII) and Shared Health Record (SHR) support for Healthquest, becoming the first EMR vendor in Alberta to offer the services.

 

2018

Microquest acquires Ezbill from M.M.S. Medical Management Services Ltd.
