Microquest has modified hours during the holiday season. The office will be open during the following times:
- December 23 - 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM
- December 26 - Closed
- December 27 - Closed
- December 28 - 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- December 29 - 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- December 30 - 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- January 2, 2012 - Closed
Regular office hours (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM) will resume January 3, 2012.

2011 Christmas Claims Schedule
Alberta Health and Wellness has posted the 2011 Christmas Claims Schedule.
Claims assessed between December 9 and 15, 2011 will be paid as usual on Friday, December 23, 2011. There will be no payment on Friday, December 30, 2011.
Payment will resume Friday, January 6, 2012, encompassing all claims assessed between December 16-29, 2011.
As always, claims can be submitted to Microquest 24/7 during this period.

Canada Post Strike
Due to the postal strike it may be difficult for some Microquest clients to send in their payments. Please note that Microquest will also accept credit card payments. Simply call 780-438-3762 ext. 4 during business hours. Cheques can also be dropped off during business hours to our Edmonton office, at 4408 94 Street.

AB CodeSpot is a great tool to search the schedule of medical benefits in Alberta.
- Quickly search service codes or descriptions.
- Find diagnostic codes and descriptions.

Microquest is updating our servers over the weekend of February 5-6. During this time the website may be down and Alberta Health Care submissions may be unavailable. Submissions can be done as usual on Monday, February 7. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

AHW Holiday Payment Schedule
The Alberta Health and Wellness holiday payment schedule has been posted. You can view a copy here.
Payment will be issued as per usual on Friday, December 24. There will be no payment issued on Friday, December 31. Payments will resume Friday, January 7, 2011 and will include claims assessed during December 17 to 30, 2010.
You may continue to submit claims to Microquest as usual during this time.

Please note that claims assessed between December 5-11, 2008 will be paid as usual on December 19, 2008.
Any claims assessed between December 12-23, 2008 will be paid on January 2, 2009.
You will still be able to submit claims to Microquest as usual during this time period.

GST Reduction to 5%
Effective January 1, 2008, Canada’s GST rate will be reduced to 5%. Healthquest version 3.2.19 is fully compatible with this rate change. To ensure that your Healthquest software is up to date, simply click on the Help menu and select Update Healthquest, or call technical support at (780) 438-3762 or (403) 444-0266.

Microquest is proud to announce that our Healthquest software has conformed to the requirements set out in the POSP VCUR standard and is listed on the October 25, 2007 VCUR Product List.
As always, Microquest is dedicated to providing outstanding service and support to all of our clients. Our acceptance to the VCUR Product List will ensure that all of our POSP-funded physicians will continue to receive their funding uninterrupted.
Healthquest version 3.2 is now fully compliant with the Pharmaceutical Information Network (PIN) and Alberta Netcare Portal 2006.
